I should add for free.
It is stuff probably from 60s, 70, and 80's. She worked at Walmart in Fabrics briefly in the late 80's and may have gotten some from there.
It has been in the drawers in that falling down shack on Lake Pontchartrain for the last 12 or 15 years but it looks OK to me. I can't guarantee anything about it. But I am willing to send it to someone who wants to love it! For free.
glen: or several of you if you look like a fight might ensue.........

I just donated a load of my mom's laces I inherited. Some really wide and all beautiful. Good luck. I would like to have kept it, but I had no idea what to do with it, and I didn't want to make lace quilts. Some do though~
I'll take some if it isn't all spoken for. I've got granddaughters so can use the trim on dresses for them. Even super wide stuff can trim petticoats and skirts. Email me and I can send my address.

I'm thinking of Christmas stockings, and doll dresses, and pillowcases!

I am interested! nancy at colorfibertexture dot com - if it's not all spoken for!
Oh, I would LOVE to use this old lace for new and exciting projects! But i suppose you wouldn't send them all the way to Sweden, would you?
I love the things I inherited, actually the top picture of my blog is an old quilt, supposely made by my grandmother's mother. A lovely heirloom, that I treasure!
I would also love some if you have anything left and you're willing to ship internationally. I'm working on a breast cancer project called Make a Boob, and the old lace and ribbons would look perfect on them. You can read about the project here http://makeaboob.blogspot.com
OK maybe should divide it up among you. I really didn't expect to spend a lot of money to send freebie out that probably isn't worth much. Let me check on the pistagw internationally and see.

Pistagaw??? That should be postage!
I'd love a bit too... if there is enough. Lace has its place!
Just saw the post, would love close up pictures of the lace, for an art project......
If their is any left, artsy?
