My 12" x 12" Block

I worked on this for about three hours today . . .

I couldn't get enough!

Here it is all trimmed up. I wanted to make my swap block in the style of my leftovers quilt . . .
So I had to have a little tree.

This tree is about 2 1/2" x 3"

I loved making this, can't wait to figure out

the quilting now . . .

So way cool! It is decieving to look at this and think it is only 12 by 12. It didn't register to me until you gave the dimensions of the tree.

glen: so way cool!

Oh, that is really cute!

I got the needed inspiration I need for my 12 x 12 quilt this weekend. Have we been assigned partners yet?

Lucky swap partner, it's lovely...like Glen says, a quilt in miniature more than just a block!

Love this! That tree serves as a great focal point and draws your eye into the whole quilt.

I love this! I especially love that tree. I am going to have to play at making me some trees.

What total fun. The tree is the zinger and holds it all together. Bonnie

Love the riot of colours round the bending tree. Is it having a look at all the patches surrounding it?
