The roses were fun to make and it was a challenge to get them all together in the pot without overlapping each other - I pieced the roses, added the stems and background and then tried to put them together into the pot - very interesting and tricky to do. There was a lot of cutting and frogging to get them to look "natural". Thank goodness the background has a lot of texture, because up around the roses there is a lot of piecing going on there.

This is a really sweet picture. I know what you mean about someone maybe not liking it. I would love it!
I have those panic twinges, I am certain people won't want what I make. I am usually wrong, but there are a few who really would not like things like this.

luv this idea! my 2 yr old niece's new word is "fwow-wer" (flower) so this would be cute for a small doll quilt block too!
