When I saw this top over on Victoria's blog (assembled by the NYC Mod Guild quilters) I fell like a brick.
The directions to the guild members were to make one or more blocks using striped prints or by making stripes of their own. The blocks were to measure 10.5 inches square or 5.5" x 10.5" when they were turned in.
I immediately set about using my 15 Minutes to make stripe blocks. The first day my stripes were slightly less than 5" wide although I did manage to get the necessary length. So the next time I just added long strips to either side of my narrow block. At the same time I was able to piece together one of the half-blocks.

I, too, love this quilt. Yours is going to be wonderful.
Great! We used only stripe fabric and we could make any kind of block out of it as long as it was the required sizes...
I have just found your blog and I love it. So colourful and joyous!
This quilt will be great fun. Terrific colours.
I love your choice of colors - and I am inspired to use more black and whites. I tend to "save" my b&w for some reason...thanks for the enlightenment!
