Kandinsky's Circles in Fiber

Here is my first attempt at Kandinsky's Circles with the Solid Segments Challenge.

I decided not to copy the painting exactly because I got bored with that.  So I began switching up the colors, and referring to the original painting just for inspiration.

I may do another attempt and try to add another circle inside each 4 square.  We'll see what happens today!

I think that's just beautiful as is, you did a wonderful job!

With mine (Matisse) I think I'm trying to be too literal and can't climb out of that box. I looked at some Kandinsky's yesterday and I might switch to one of his Murnau pieces or his Akzent in Rosa. I'm glad we have enough time!

Love the colours - so vibrant. How about adding extra circles when quilting - something the artist cannot do!
