My little nothings

Those little trimmings I rescued from the trash really stepped up to the plate!  I started playing with more of the little sandiches not knowing how I'd use them, and when I saw them lying side-by-side I went "hmmm, what if..."

So I joined a few of  the sandwiches together, again just to see how they'd look, and before I knew it I had made these five blocks...

If you were looking at them horizontally, the panels are all trimmed them 12" wide and random lengths. I'm still not sure how I'll use them... will they be sliced / diced / rotated / spinned?  I'm not sure, but it's not bad for little bits rescued from the trash!

Like 'em lots. I tried your trick of seeing if I had any of the fabrics. Nope not a one. It's a good way to focus on what your seeing. Thanks for commenting on my playing.

I am into stripes, strips and solids right now. But then I love most of what we do here!

Those stripes look so cool --- and have so much potential! Love to see how they turn out and what processes you go thru getting there. Have been following along here for some time... will join in when I get settled in my new place.
