Spinning My Wheels

I'm stuck not making any forward progress on my Intuition Quilt. It's keeping me awake at night. Does that mean my intuition has stopped working? Here's what I wanted to do:

I didn't like it and changed my mind to this:
It has stopped speaking to me, so I'm not sure whether it's saying it's done and wants to be a table topper, or if it went to sleep and I need to do something to wake it back up?

Meanwhile, I've been playing with my blocks from the 15-minutes bee, and here's what I have so far, with a lot more playing and slicing and dicing yet to go. I'm having sooo much fun with these. I'm pretty sure this is going to be one of my favorite quilts EVER!

And speaking of the bee, I need to get off of here and go make some blocks for Charlotte. I don't want to get behind, because . . .
I wanna get in on the solids challenge. It's just too good to resist!
Catch ya later . . .

You must have a thing for circles this month. Must be the full summer moon calling to you. Love both quilts.

I wonder if the brighter red border is competing with the lovely stuff you have going on inside. Is there a way to meld the two? Like have some circles jumping into the border? I know when my intuition stops flowing, it's because I don't like the piece enough yet. Just let it sit, and it will tell you what to do. I do love your circles!

I was thinking along the same lines as Nifty Quilts. Maybe the surround of the circles is too regular and the inside and outside maybe need to play together? I don't know how you feel about cutting some of the circles? This looks like it will be a lovely quilt.

Or do you really want it to be a bigger quilt and not a table topper? If that's the case I would find something fun to do to make borders for it and let what you have now become a central medallion. I really like it (but then I'm finding that I'm not quite as free-wheeling as some of the quilters on this blog!).
