Sandy's blocks and solid swap complete

Here's your two blocks Sandy!  I'm loving the look of your blocks!
Can't wait to see this quilt together! I think I need a whole quilt in
these colors.... Thanks Sandy for inspiring me!

I also finished my Segmented solid swap quilt!  Everyone here was trying to claim it,
so now I am going to make a WHOLE quilt out of blocks like this, all based on Matisse...
I have some details over at my Bumblebeans blog...If you want to play along.
I had so much fun making these...

The quilting was even more fun!  Pulling details from his paintings for the quilting added a lot
to the quilt as a whole. Take the opportunity to PLAY with your quilting!

Did you find it challenging to use Just solids
I had to keep reminding myself,
no prints!  hehe!  fun stuff!

This is beautiful. I have had to remind myself several times about the solids. I think I am getting closer to the quilting stage. Just trying to decide whether to do it by hand or machine.

Thanks, V, the blocks are gorgeous!!! Love your solids challenge, too!

As soon as I unpack my sewing room I will get to play again.
