Solid Swap

Here is my minimalist interpretation of Diebenkorn's seascape. I wanted to emphasize his palette with repeated rectangles of pure color from my collection of hand dyed fabrics. Found it very cool and relaxing on this hot July day.

Great interpretation. I like that you kept the coloring simple. Now you can really emphasize the contours with the quilting. Looking forward to see where you take it next!

Subtle & contemplative ... those hand dyes are beautiful.
