Hello, Baltimore!

The other day I wondered to myself, "what if... Baltimore?"  So... I used some playtime minutes (15+ + +) to create these red and yellow and green pieces,

Then I created a Baltimore album-type block using lids from three different sized containers; I thought I'd try some flowers, just to see if I liked doing it.

I traced the template pieces onto fusible web, then pressed the fusible to my fabrics and stitched them down using a raw-edge applique

I actually like the way it came out; I'm going to try making a few more designs!
