More than 15 Minutes

I really can't play for just 15 minutes, but this is really fun. I am not a template or pattern quilter. In fact I probably could not even cut 2 template pieces the same. But for some reason I got intrigued with 1/2 square triangles. So into the box of 5" squares and I pulled out the dark reds(warn) and light blues (cool) and proceeded to sew 1/2 square triangles. Then the fun part to arrange them into a design. Not sure where this is going, but it was fun to just sew for a while.

A problem. I have a pile of tops (about 10 right now), mostly large lap quilt size but not big enough to be a twin size that I would like to donate to the BASICS project. Some could probably have boarders added to make twin size. But the problem is they need to be quilted. Is there anyone out there that would like to team up on this. I would provide the top and backing. If my partner could provide the batting and quilting. Maybe a really efficient long arm quilter? I just don't have the time right now to get them finished and would like to see them go to a good cause.

I'll take two. Finish the tops and make the binding/backing and I'll supply the batting, I'll quilt it and put the binding on. I need 2 more to reach my quota of 5! sharon at grassrootsquiltstudio dot com
