In my search to find something FUN to set off four of the Triangle galore blocks, I pulled out this Jane Sassaman print. I laid out a few strips to see if I would like it,
and instantly decided ,"Yes, it worked!"
Mitering the corners, so the pattern would wrap the corners like it was meant to be, was just the thing to make this start of a medallion lap quilt.
Usually I audition a few fabrics before I set something, But I can safely say, I pulled this Asian Blue print out, and...
Well, somethings are just meant to be.
One more row around? ...Maybe...

you know how good this looks, right? wow! and yes, I've been mitreing and Y-piecing. was that Sasssaman print a stripe or a border or part of a bigger print?
