Simply "Mauve-e-lous"

How exciting - my "first" time to play here and I've met my goal: FINISH the first 'color' BEFORE the next one is announced! Found a little swatch of Mauve and added my fabs....

...then stared at the mix for 4 days, trying to decide what block I would make - wondering exactly "when" the 15 minutes playtime actually started (was that 4 days ago? If so, I was already seriously behind!)...I really liked the sample block originally shown - but thought I'd try 'wonky' - so graphed out some thoughts, but I must not have been in a wonky kinda mood - time was running out - so I just jumped in and made some fabric (ah-HA! 15 minutes!).....
....decided after all, if this block was good enough for our fearless leader, it was certainly good enough for me!  Ta-Da!!!!

But then, I had all these little snips and snaps left over... and I was overcome with a little 'wonky-ness'  and now I was unstoppable .... found a little more 'almost mauve' fab and another 15 minutes to play...
I think I'm addicted!
Can't wait for the next color :)

The polka dot black & white is a great background choice! Love the wonky star block.

This wonky star block is sweet against the black and white.
