Dusty blue hard to find

I looked long and hard in my stash and only found two fabrics which I felt qualified as dusty blue - the two you see above.  I was very surprised as I have lots of blues, but so little dusty blue, which I think is a great color.  In four of the blocks I've made for these color challenges, green has appeared; I'm beginning to see it as a color I find goes well with lots of other colors (ala mother nature?).  The lighter green above is actually more vibrant and refreshing.

Here are the four blocks which seem to have the ability to work together ( my orange and yellow blocks scream to be part of different universe).

Stunning, Willa! Love, love, love your blocks. Green does go with everything... so many different green tones to choose from. They are beautiful together ~ have you developed a plan for your final product?

Depends on the colors to come and how many blocks will fit with either the mellows posted this week or the brights (yellow and orange).

I love the blue block. I think all these blocks work so well together. The Asian fabrics and the frame-like design make them very interesting. You have a wonderful eye for design so I always look forward to seeing what you do with each new challenge.

I want to know how come I've been gathering fabrics since I lived in NYC, (since 1994) and I DO have Dusty blue, mauve etc... LOL! Your fractured blocks are looking so cool!

Isn't it wonderful the way different colors call to each of us? It certainly makes for a variety at quilt shows!
I love your blocks and the last four are my favorite.
