Orange is one of those colors that elicit a response from my taste buds
so it's no wonder I had a hankering for a big glass of OJ when I discovered this week's color.
My garden also had some orange wildflowers to highlight
how well the orange shows up so nicely against the green of a Hosta.

Without looking at my stash, I immediately knew what I'd select for my focus fabric...
a batik with varying shades of orange and some cute little bubbles.
Except for the solid orange all my fabrics were batiks this week.
I decided to play with curves and joined more fabric,
cut them into interesting shapes and offset them somewhat.
I like how the brown and green made the orange "pop".
This is my brightest block of the six so far and I had more fun playing.
Still working on doing it in 15 Minutes tho :)) It's the process that's important
and I'm feeling a bit more adventurous each week.
