Now we're talkin'! I I love orange.

I have lots and lots and lots of orange. It's my most favorite color these days. 

As I'd mentioned previously, the colors I selected for my yellow worked better with my orange. So here's my 12.5" block:


This little scrap is all that's left of the VERY FIRST PIECE OF FABRIC I EVER BOUGHT!  Seriously. I remember getting my Featherweight for Christmas back in 2007. It came a couple weeks early, and I needed to make something. I bought this fabric because it was on sale. I've used it in scrappy quilts over the years, and this 5" x 7" piece was all that was left:

Here are the fabrics I chose - I wanted to use a couple Kaffe Fassetts along with some other brights:


I ended up with this 6.5" block:

The first fabrics we bought do tell our age! Mine were in the previous century!
