I surprised myself by finding quite a selection of kelly green in my stash - some old, some new. When pulling fabrics, I thought "grass green". And what goes with grass? Sky blue, of course - and some bright pink and orange flowers, dandelions (haha), a couple of bugs, and a little dog too!
Completed Kelly Green block - each block is squared up with my 12-1/2" ruler, nice! One block a week, for 16 weeks - great way to get enough blocks for a quilt!

Its so pretty! It looks like all the different flavors of sherbert!!
Looks great! All the colors hold their own, which is a great accomplishment given that some colors are so bold and some are so mellow/soft.
What a wonderful assortment of colors! Hard to believe that these colors were meant to challenge you. Every one is delicious!
That is a wonderful set of 16. With how beautiful they look, I'd be tempted to piece a few more!
You really need to keep going on this.., they are beautiful!! We can throw more colors at you! :-)
I agree with V.! Keep going, it looks wonderful!
Lovely quilt ! You can go either way.. Keep it as is or keep expanding with other colors. Wonder if it is possible to come up with enough colors to do 52 blocks and not repeat a color? One block a week for a whole year. That would be a challenge... But one should stop when the going is good. Happy sewing!

Your kelly green block is beautiful. A lovely set of fabrics - and the little dog.
Your blocks are beautiful and are going to make a lovely quilt!
That is gorgeous!!
Love the scrappy approach to making this block! I'm working on a similar one with blue & white polka dots and white sashing but this is really appealing. Gotta love those scrappy strips.
Wow, I love these blocks and they look fantastic all lined up! Very inspiring.
Wow, what a great job. Those blocks look wounderful together!
