growing!

15 made... I'm thinking I will go until it's a twin size... ( heck I might as well try something different!)  The one thing I've noticed is how, as I have been making three blocks a day, (when I get around to it!)  that my color choices are all so unique to the day.

I can pick three that I did on one day, that are more rich in color then the others... Another day I was drawn to yellow, another day was polka dot driven... aqua, etc...

As you lay out your blocks, do you notice the subtleties like that?

What do you see when you lay them all together? Do you think about using them a place to applique? Will you leave them as they are?

Whats so amazing is the way this makes your eye travel all around the quilt. I was just following the trail of white dots on grey, then yellow stripes, then aqua tints. I love these all set together with nothing to distract from that.

Perhaps you said in an earlier post but I didn't catch it. What size are these locks? It's hard to tell from the photos.
