15 Minutes of PLAY BOOK TOUR!!

One of the first questions I often get, is: " Do I have a favorite quilt in the book?"  I think many know that I am obsessed with my process, and frankly, sometimes I am OVER the quilt by the time I know what it will look like...But still, I do have a favorite or two, precisely because of the journey the quilt took me on. I think the three quilts above, and this Crown of thrown quilt below ring high on my list of favs.
The Star Splitter, because it started the journey of making this book.
Flower's in Elda's Garden, because it is directly related to my grandmother's process and WHY and how I learned to quilt.
and the Makin' me crazy quilt, as it  blends when I do, and what my grandmother did.

Although this quilt, above, is my instant gratification to having a Grandmother's flower garden quilt FINISHED! Unlike the one in my closet that is 9 years old and unfinished! LOL! Looking at antique quilts, finding a new way to put your mark on them... PLAY! Inspiration is always there!

My goal for the book is to show you how my process and my inspiration is born; how to find your creative flow, keep it and let it SOAR! Giving you confidence to try new things, look at your fabrics in a different light, and build quilts that are unique to you!  Also, to provide you with OODLES of inspiration and eye candy to get your JOURNEY ready to create!  Building your TOOL BOX of techniques to make you a better quilter, each and every time you set about making a new quilt.

TRY SOMETHING NEW! I dare you!

So, would you like to win a copy of my book?

US winners receive a hard copy of the book

You may comment on each of the blogs until Dec 12th, 6 pm.

Color preference is always changing. Right now I am loving the tangerine and raspberry used in B&C Marmalade line. Love to win your book. Thank you.

My favorite colour is "oh my gosh it changes daily but warm reds and yellows and oranges make me smile!"

I like yellow because it makes everything feel sunny. Thanks for the chance on this book. I like the idea of making my own fabric and love the ways you used it in your patterns.

I like the color blue best. I have liked this color since high school. It must be something about the cool tones that you find with blues.

The beautiful quilts featured in 15 Minutes to Play remind me of the Kaleidoscope I keep next to my computer for inspiration.

Not just one color. Several colors: yellow, fuschia, orange, and purple. Bright and clear.

Favorite right now is purple, but red is always number one..

My favorite color depends on what I am doing with it. I adore black for the way it makes almost every other color just POP! My 2yo daughter is teaching me to appreciate all shades of pink/purple/turquoise... I'm finding myself split between riotous (is that a word?) color, and very simple 2 color quilts. It's amazing how different the same pattern can look just by changing the color. Thank you for the chance to win! Can't wait to read about your process!

My favorie colo is purple, but I dont seem to use it much in my quilts. Latley I have been using the different greens to make qults for the girl for Christmas. Most of my baby quilts for Christmas have been in reds, browns, and aqua's. I think all colors inspire me!
