Quilt Alliance Quilt

"Quilters Play Manhattan" 70" X 70"

Here she is!  Using the Quilters Take Manhattan, "After Dark" Quilt Alliance blocks, and combining them with my Whites and Lights challenge Made Fabric, I had to go big and bold! This quilt will be auctioned off in 2013, I guess I better get quilting!
PIN IT! ;-)

The Quilt Alliance will be celebrating their 20th Anniversary in 2013!
Help us celebrate twenty years of Documenting, Preserving & Sharing the stories of quilts and their makers!

Many of this years House shaped quilts are being auctioned off each week on ebay... hop over and see the new batch that went up for auction for inspiration and great Xmas gifts! I have my eye on a few!

Be thinking about what you might make for next years "Theme" quilt! Details will be up soon! Might be fun to PLAY with here!

The Quilt Alliance will also have a blog soon!    Hop over and follow now...We wouldn't want you to miss anything! ;-)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Lovely quilt! I adore the crazy piecing in the light area, held together with the gradated pink stripes. It stands out so beautifully against the saturated, intentionally pieced blocks surrounding.

You did it!!! The big star simply radiates in the darker sky. I love looking for all those traditional blocks that surround these pieced lights and whites. Shoo Fly, Nine-patch, Variable Star, Pin Wheel, and probably more I haven't found yet....Oh, and I love the pink gradation, too!
