I think........  last year about this time I rummaged through the stash so I could use my Cheissie Pressie. A go cutter.

a pile of strips which were 2 of each scrap I found that I could cut a selvage to selvage strip from.

The first lot became a Chip Quilt that fond a home with the Windsor Community Quilters.

BUT 

what to do with the remaining set of strips? The Ah Ha moment   I'm sorting the remaining strips into what will go with my tea towel
