Time for Tea

Time for making my tea towel into a quilt, that is . . .

Here's my towel:

I'm a little challenged in that it's a "half-n-half" towel, but decided a challenge like this is just what I need to pull me out of my "everything needs to be just right" habit.

So I'm excited to pull some fabric and get to playing! I'm envisioning the fabric I'll make to go along with this, and I'll be back to show you how I handle that "but part of it is upside down!" thing that has me stumped. I already have some ideas . . . time will tell if I can pull at least one of them off with any success!

This will be interesting. Daughter Carrie brought me two tea towels from Europe when she was backpacking for six weeks ( and we worried for six weeks.)

Cute towel. Nothing wrong with cutting in half and using one half in made fabric.
