Too many choices

Brenda here finally getting around to choosing a tea towel. I have a vast collection of mostly linen vintage tea towels. I don't spend more than a dollar on any of them, and most of them have never been used or even washed. I'm leaning toward the one in the middle because I like the deep saturation of colour, and then I would use the golf course one to cut up for patches. then again, I like the minimalist look of the cat one. what do all of you think?

I like the 'Scottish' ones...beautiful colors. I, too, have lots of tea towels. I look at them for the colors and also what I have to go with them. A girlfriend gave me a great farm one for Christmas...so I've been searching for colors and farm fabric...but do I want to do THAT? Then there's my Irish tea towels? I see your dilemma...

tough cal! Great colors in the middle on, but the cat one could be a really fun challenge with BLACK!

my first inclination was the Scottish one but the black cat grew on me quickly. That's my vote because you can punch it with color in a major way.

except folks, I really don't like cats. I know that's near blasphemy in the quilting world, but that's the truth.

I would like the middle one as a medallion...and the cat would look good in a scroll format.

I definitely like the cat towel, but then I have been intrigued recently by several black and white quilts with just hints of color (red, pink, green ...).
Good luck with whatever you choose.

I must say my eye goes immediately to the most colorful one, but the cat one could be wonderful too, and the bolue and green of the first one has possibilities as well. You could always make two! Karin

I can see the fun you could have in all the colors if you used the middle towel, but I'm favoring the cat towel and the challenge that could present.

I like the middle one, thinking of all the fun you could have with the colors.

You could always make more than one!!

I'm with you Brenda, I'm automatically drawn to the middle one and the other could be cut into portions, and used to repeat that wonderful rich blue somewhere in the quilt. Choices...choices...grab your scissors!!!

all the more reason to try the cat one! you may come to love it once you challenge yourself.
black and white with just a little hint of color sounds intriguing.....I am sure any one you choose will be fun. go with your first choice. that is usually your best one.

if you did the cat one (even though you're not a cat person, you could give it away to BB Basics...maybe think in terms of color not theme?

I was immediately drawn to the minimalist one on the right ... but I think you should go with the one you love best.
