My Scrappy Block

When I see all the photos of the scraps people are sharing, I am so amazed at how many fabrics are out there. That shouldn't surprise me, but it does. In my package, none of the scraps were fabrics that I have in my stash! I just think that is cool.

Here is the block I made. It is a 15-inch block. I am going to make a few more and make a quilt for a kid. This was loads of fun, and a quick way to do an exchange and a project. Thanks, V. (and thanks again to my partner, Ellen)

I hadn't thought of using "made fabric" in an Ohio Star, but I like it a lot.

Its so fun to see some of my favorite fabric scraps used in your block. Thanks for being a great swap partner!

I, too, had the same experience - not one scrap I received was something I had. Cute block for a kid's quilt!

How do you deal with the seams having so many seams in them? And corners? Oye!
