Mini Amish Progress

I'm going with a nine patch theme here.
My little made fabric squares are 1.25 inches.
They are tiny for sure!
I loved making them.

The nine patches measure 3" square.
I used tiny little seam allowances.

Now my quandary is this . . .

I can't decided which of these layouts for the center to use.

What do you think?

I would love a little advise.

Love them both, but if I had to choose, I would go with the one with the center 9 patch. I am eager to see what comes next.

I like the second one, because it echoes the little nine-patches. great so far!

center 9 patch unless you quilted something in the black center of the other?

Yes, center 9 patch. These are wonderful... and so tiny!
The colors really glow against the black.

Yes, I agree with the second one too... except I like the idea Sewing in CT had about quilting the solid center .. maybe in a bright contrast thread..... fun project, your colors are GREAT!

I have to echo the others-either the cute little nine-patch or else an applique or embroidery in the black center square. I really love the made cloth.
