BIG FINISH!

 Blue Scrap Jar is done!

I finished sewing down the scrappy binding, a first for me, last week and it is ready to be gifted to my sister-in-law for Christmas!

This was a really fun quilt to make from beginning to end!

I rented a friend's long-arm and  it took me about 5 hours to quilt it!

She suggested this quilting pattern, called Meander and I am glad I took her advice!

The backing is an oldie from my stash which I think is perfect with this quilt!

I used Quilter's Dream batting and I like the drape, but boy is it heavy!

I have only used polyester in large quilts to date and they are much lighter! I like the feel of cotton far better!

This looks terrific. Your coloured squares are very complex and full of interest and I do like your quilting.

Your blues really look wonderful together! So many blues really make it fun to look at. Glad you had a good time with it, too.
