Ninja hearts!

Hello V

My Mum gave your book to me for Christmas and it lead me to your blog - the Hearts Challenge inspired me so here is my first attempt at "Made Fabric". I have two sons who are into Martial Arts and I made them Ninja quilts for Christmas. These are some of the scraps made into Ninja Heart pillows (quite small), with a free motion spiral quilted on just the heart. It was so much fun - thanks for the inspiration!

I have to also add that the main thing I loved about your book was that it was like cookery book that explains how to cook rather than just a bunch of prescriptive recipes. I know I am going to have a lot of fun with this technique!

Many thanks, Gill, London, UK

I've been getting the nicest emails from people lately, you guys are so awesome! I love seeing what you've made! ...So, Please, please keep sending me pics! ~ V
