My friend Mariah Bath, a quilter and sewing teacher, has been making business cards from her fabric scraps for years. I was at her studio the other day when she mentioned how much she'd enjoyed Victoria's episode of The Quilt Show and that it inspired her to make a new batch of cards. They're so pretty, I asked if I could show them off here.
Instead of cleaning up all the tiny scraps from a recent baby quilt finish, Mariah made fabric from them. She cuts the made-fabric into rectangles and sews them to cardstock with a zigzag stitch, then hand-writes her contact info on the back for a personal touch.
Great idea, Mariah! Nice way to use those littlest scraps.
