Linda's win!

Hi. Just thought you might like to see the quilt I started in Victoria's workshop at Canton Village Quilt works early last December. It's called An Unexpected Turn. I wanted to stop after completing 16 blocks in the workshop. However, when I sewed one of the blocks in the wrong direction, I thought it would be fun to see where that took me. So my 16 blocks turned into 36 and then 64 and finally 100. It won second place in our quilt guild's scrap quilt challenge, and the picture was taken at the Farmington Valley Quilt Show this weekend. ~Linda

This is the best combination of scrappy traditional with a modern layout and feel when finished. I love the depth that the made fabric gives to this. Did you bust your scrap stash?

It's a great quilt. It used up so many scraps as well.
