My BOM is complete
Whew... I actually completed the BOM challenge quilt. I am surprised, for I imagine it would not happen since the top was sufficient. I enjoyed my machine quilting. I used the walking foot for this and made my binding. All done.

Beacon Lights and Courthouse Steps
I must have had a bad ruler day and will probably remake this Beacon Lights block, some of my little triangles are way tiny. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. But, it was a fun block to make!
I also finished the Courthouse Steps block - I decided to use the 'made fabric' on the inside instead of the outside on this one. Thanks for the tutorials ladies!

Two blocks finished
Beacon lights and courthouse steps are finished. I still have to get back to the pinwheel block and try and fix it. I made a hash of it - hope it is fixable or I will have to start it again.

Beacon lights and courthouse steps
I had some time yesterday to finish making enough fabric to catch up on the BOMs. I am not totally pleased with the way my beacon lights turned out. I lost corners in far to many places, but I do like the way the fabrics worked together. I am using different yellows/oranges/golds for background fabrics for each of the blocks. I hope that will make for an interesting quilt when all is said and done.
I am really enjoying our BOM challenge. I love the look of the traditional blocks with made fabric. I just hope I don't run out of scraps in my favorite colors before we are finished.
