Now - I have a problem, and none of you can help me with it!  Somehow, I have misplaced all my blocks I made while I was on my summer trip!  We got home from Alaska, and emptied the trailer out - all the laundry, extra food, sewing supplies, fishing gear, and all the souvenirs we'd bought along the way.  That trailer is empty.  And nowhere in any of that stuff that we brought home are the 9 blocks I'd made.  (I made 6 of one kind, and then 3 others).  I've gone back and searched other cubbieholes and drawers, and have yet to find them.  I'm sure they're in the mess somewhere - I just haven't come across them yet.  So frustrating!

I managed to redo my pinwheel block and I am happy with it now. I had to audition several fabrics for the base of the cactus flower block. Most greens would not have looked good with the teal fabric I am using as the background.

Cactus Flower

Just finished my Cactus Flower.  Wasn't sure how the green was going to look since all my blocks are red, blue, a little white and cheddar yellow background.  But I think it turned out all right.  I am sure having fun with these.  You have all done such a great job with the tutorials.  Hugs
