Hi, my name is Alexis, and I am addicted to brights, bolds, scrappiness and more! Like Bonnie, I decided to challenge myself to make fabric from the lights and neutrals languishing in my scrap bag.I had to throw in some brights (just a smidge!) to keep this from simpering into blandness (to me).... I found I cut and resewed a LOT more than when I work in my usual palette. But I got something I can live with and make more of.
What was difficult: the light fabrics look blocky and dull when stacked together. What worked: small pieces and jaunty angles.
