Just ran across this fun little quilt picture.... I made the quilt by sewing selvages to dryer sheets then bordered with crumb blocks........so much fun...........15 minutes at a time. This one went onto to be donated to QOV and was gifted to a young injured female marine. Happy sewing

Such a good place to send it to. We just had a talk about Quilts of Valor at Green Country Quilter's Guild this week. You've inspired me to make one for this cause.
Wonderful quilt and so great you could donate it!
Great quilt, lucky one who received it. I'll bet these selvages and crumbs provide endless entertainment and cheer.

Oooo, lovely!
I love the spiderweb blocks, and it looks so nice with the selvage edges. And what a nice feeling to know it went to someone so deserving.
