selvages and crumbs

Just ran across this fun little quilt picture.... I made the quilt by sewing selvages to dryer sheets then bordered with crumb blocks........so much fun...........15 minutes at a time.  This one went onto to be donated to QOV and was gifted to a young injured female marine.  Happy sewing

Such a good place to send it to. We just had a talk about Quilts of Valor at Green Country Quilter's Guild this week. You've inspired me to make one for this cause.

I love the spiderweb blocks, and it looks so nice with the selvage edges. And what a nice feeling to know it went to someone so deserving.
