my bag of scraps from England! Oh, I was so excited. And I had had such a blah day. My mom forgot I have seen her every day and three days this week we have gone shopping, to Goodwill and to get an ice cream cone and told me that she is so tired of being alone with no one ever coming to see her.......
Then I spent most of the day driving my nearly blind friend to two doctors and sitting amongst sneezing and coughing SICK people........
But when I got home Frank says, there is a weird package for you and I knew immediately it was the thing that would SAVE my day!
Trudi, I wanted to spread them on the ground and ROLL in them!
And here is the veritable mountain of sweet things that were literally STUFFED into the bag. Visions of quilts and blocks and what these pieces of leftover lovelies would become dance in my head like sugar plum fairies. They spoke to me with a definite British accent and I chuckled a bit.
My package is sitting on my counter waiting for a trip to the post office. I know you will be as excited as I am now.
Trudi, my darling, you have really made my day better....no not just better...you made it FABULOUS!

That package couldn't have arrived on a better day, I'm sure.
Woohoooooo! I'm so pleased they arrived safely! Did you find the post card? And you're right, I stuffed that baby till I could fit no more in it! LOL Sounds like the timing was just perfect! Happy playing Glen!
