I have a handful of small intuition projects that I finished recently... I have really enjoyed seeing all the intuition quilts in progress here and wanted to share. Because each piece is small, that came together quickly and spontaneously... most of my design decisions were based on reaching for the nearest scrap that spoke to me. I really like working on this scale (I've made my biggest quilts ever in the last few months so it's a satisfying contrast) and I think I'll be making more small quilts this year.
Three bookcovers, #1 started it all with the La Virgen panel... she needed clovers for good luck and some extra rays of light. The rays became a star for book cover #2.... and the scraps from both went into the fabric I was making at the time, which (why not?) ended up as cover #3.
This Bloom mini quilt started out with making fabric as well, and I thought it looked like a flower when I put the orange scraps around it. Then it wanted to be in a garden (and orange one!) and have spiky grass (with those triangles on your cutting mat!) and leftover binding stem and some needle-turned leaves. I practiced my free-motion quilting on this as well... which is a much needed start.

What wonderful book covers. I like these all.
Small but very pretty!
These are all great - especially love the orange with the flower. Sometimes it's harder to work on a small scale like this - you did good - thanks for sharing!
These are all fantastic! I need to make a cover for my Nook; this may get me going!
