CARAMEL - May BOM

I've been waiting for an idea to come along where I could incorporate these Kaffe scraps, and this seemed like the perfect project to use them!  (I tend to hoard my Kaffe for some reason.)  I was in a sweet mood while making this yesterday, so this is my CARAMEL block.

Thanks for the tutorial Miki, and the well thought out extra tidbits of information!

P.S.  I didn't realize that I had the outer blocks reversed.  Geez.  Victoria certainly has a good eye.  I have taken the ripper to this block so many times already, that I don't know if I will flip those outer blocks, or just leave as is.  (Yes, the wine was good!)

i like it, looks like a good re-interpretation. i have been prevaricating about starting mine and you have made me realise it doesn't matter if it is slightly different as it will look good whatever.

Yes, I am wondering what kind of secondary design will appear with your happy accident??? I also would like to know what wine goes well with quilting??? ;-))

Love the block that way! I find a white wine is better for sewing, just incase you drip. ;)
