Time

Time
I am recently retired from my beloved profession of teaching; I decided it was time to have more time to be a grandmother, to be a quilter, and to be healthy/exercise.  I feel I squandered time this fall, so my word is TIME.

I first wondered if my word or the background should be the made fabric.  Then I decided to incorporate the word into the made fabric.  So with no vision of the end, I started cutting and sewing.  I was surprised when I saw that TIME was in a way surpassed by ME.  I immediately realized that I am responsible for the time.

Time is precious, indeed! You are using yours well now, so enjoy your new life... The colors you picked seem to say Night & Day.

Isn't it funny how things turn out, almost as if you need to make it a point next time to not plan out the entire quilt, just so those cool things happen!
