Blocks for Glen

Hi Glen! I didn't see anywhere about a size requirement/request, so these blocks are two different sizes. If you did have something else in mind, I could easily trim/add to them.I hope you like them, I will be sending them out on Thurs!

Islands and Lakes

Well, I was a little late to get my water fabric in the mail, but these blocks are finally done and will be on their way to Sara with Monday's mail. I must admit, these were the most fun play I have done yet! I wanted to make more, but I literally used every piece of the water fabric I could.

Sara I hope you like them! I am not sure if you can tell in the picture but in one of the island blocks, my island got a little close to the edge :/ I didn't realize until I was done and pressing the block. I'm sorry! Hopefully you can work it into the large center lake you were planning so that it won't look funny!

Now, while I still have all of my greens pulled out, time to start on the leaves for Glen!

Blocks for Mary-Frances

These blocks were made for you last night, Mary-Frances! I made the first two and realized I still had plenty of red scraps left, so I set about making two more. One didn't quite work out, but you're still getting three!

I hope you like them, they are on their way to you now!

Blocks for Jessica

Jessica I made these blocks for you:
I know its getting close to the end of the month, but they are going out first thing Monday! Since you said you wanted "shades of white" to remind you of winter, I included a few Holiday/wintery pieces as well. Hope you like these!

February Blocks for LeeAnn

Since I got my January blocks out so late (Sorry Victoria!! You should be getting them any day now!), I decided to get a head start on February!

LeeAnn, here are 5 blocks as you requested:
Two of them DO have six pieces instead of five, I misjudged corner pieces and had to add one to make the square big enough! I hope that it will still be okay and that you can still use the blocks! They will be getting mailed out today :) Hope you love them!

Scrap-Bee January Block

I know, I know, crunch time! Being a procrastinator with a million things to do and another million things going on in my life is NOT a good combination! I am sure Victoria thought I was going to flake out and forget all about her block, but NO WAY!
This was so much fun to make! It really is the first time I have done something completely impromptu! I grabbed my big tote bag of little scraps, and went to town! The middle square IS a yellow, but its a bit darker, like a goldenrod (does anyone actually use that color name anymore? I haven't seen a goldenrod crayola since I was a kid!). I hope this block is bright and cheery enough for you, V!

I haven't trimmed it yet. I am always nervous about trimming blocks for other people since I don't have any square rulers. What if I mess it up? Trim it too small? Victoria, I would prefer to send it untrimmed, but if you really want it trimmed let me know! I plan to put it in the mail tomorrow!
